For many of our guests, the Baudoncourt river is simply one of the best Arctic char rivers of Nunavik’s Arctic Quebec, Canada.
It’s one of our favorite fresh sea-run char river and I can truly recommend going there, especially if you are after a trophy Arctic char. The migratory char in the Baudoncourt weighs 8/10lbs with a good numbers of 15 pounds and some occasional fish of 18/20 lbs that will blow the door of any steelhead or salmon. During the absolute prime time expect to catch between 20 to 50 chars per rod per day.
“The first time that I went to the Baudoncourt was arround August 15th. I was totally amazed by the sheer wall surrounding the turquoise water lake where the C-185 float plane had landed. A short walk of twenty minutes brought me to the river estuary where the 3 granitic pools were freshly filled up by the Ungava tide (the largest tide in the world) had brought in hundreds of big migratory Arctic char. Now imagine the rest of my first day fishing the Baudoncourt…”
We have two openings available on one of Nunavik’s premium rivers, the Baudoncourt 21-27/08/17: 3 rods and 2-8/09/17: 3 rods.
