Last week a group of Quebec’s bush pilots came to spend a few days to discover the wilderness of the Ungava’s Far North.
Our group has spent a few days fishing for the speckled trout, lake trout, landlocked salmon and for the arctic char in the rivers near Rapid Lake.
A day was dedicated to the discovery of the fjords in Labrador – icebergs, waterfalls, historic sites, moon-like landscape… They ended this magnificent day with a short stroll on the bare summits of the arctic tundra in the overhang of the oceanic fjords to discover a fantastic view of the Labrador Sea strewed with icebergs.
During the evening, they tasted a gastronomic meal and savored a Labrador Tea while telling anecdotes of the great day.
