June 15, 2017
The fishing season in Nunavik starts in three weeks and its “PRIME TIME” for species of fish – brook trout, lake trout and arctic char. The end of June up to the middle part of July is an unbeatable time of the year to catch big hungry fish near the water surface.
A fishing float trip down the Tunulic River during that time is an amazing experience. Expect to catch 30-60+ brook trout per day and expect 10-20 lakers of any size that can weigh up to 30 pounds.
Arctic char fishing during this period of spring ice cold water mean that the fish are concentrated in schools near the water surface at the outlet of the lakes and fishing is done in direct sight of the fish. This the time of the year where the char are the most aggressive and hungry. This is the best time of the year to experience the screaming reels and to stretch your backing…
There are still 2 availabilities from July 16 to 22 with a discount of $ 1,000 per rod (due to a cancellation).
Package: trout and arctic char fishing combo
