June 13th, 2016
There is still a lot of snow remaining in Rapid Lake and the majority of lakes in high altitude are still frozen… Never in 25 years I saw so much snow in mid-June. During the last days in the Qurlutuq / Tunulic river valley the mercury rises to 22°C in the daytime and fall to 4°C at night. I will take some time for all that snow to melt and the water will remain icy during several weeks, we can expect an excellent fishing season and magnificent landscapes.
