Day 2: Excursion to the continent Land’s End. Renowned for its “other worldly” landscape, the northeast tip of North America offers unsurpassed scenic views of the Arctic tundra. En route, you will fly over polar bears and magnificent icebergs. Stops along the way enable you to soak up such out-of-the-way spots as glaciers, waterfalls, fjords, snowy summits… Your day includes lunch at seaside. Overnight stay at the Lodge.
Day 3: Exploration of the Fjords. Discover some of the most imposing fjords in North America. Flying between the gigantic rock walls of the Nachvak Fjord, you will stop to visit a waterfall, geological formation and thousand-year-old tomb. Fly over famous Mount D’Iberville and Minaret Glacier with a stop at a stunning glacial valley to witness geography that is second to none. Overnight stay at the Lodge and Labrador tea tasting.
Day 4: Migrate with the Caribou Your first sight of the long processions of caribou stretching out over countless kilometres will leave you speechless. After a long winter, thousands return in July to give birth on the Georges River plateau. This region is well known by both amateur and professional photographers on a quest for safari shots. Overnight stay at the Lodge.
Day 5: Visit the Ghost Town of Hebron. Discover such enigmatic artefacts as a Gothic style church shrouded in mystery, 100-year-old houses and dozens of open-pit tombs, all with an unobstructed view of the Labrador Sea. Overnight stay at the Lodge.
Day 6: Black bear of the tundra. The observation of black bear in its natural habitats is always a sensational experience. After breakfast, we leave for an excursion on the bare sides of the mountains where we will try to spot black bears feeding on blueberries. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 7: Return Trip. Breakfast at the Lodge.
