Day 2: Early in the morning, the floatplane will drop you upstream of the river with your guide and the inflatable boats where you will begin your expedition. Overnight in bivouac.
Day 3, 4, 5: Over the next few days, we float down the Tunulic River by stopping at the best spot to fish for speckled trout and lake trout. At lunch time, the guide will prepare a “nomadic lunch” and will braise some of your catch on a wood burning fire. In the afternoon, we continue our descent of the Tunulic while fishing and exploring by boat dozens of pools which represent sites of choice for the trouts. At the end of the day, we set up the bivouac on the shore of the river and we take the meal around a campfire.
Day 6: Downhill fishing. In the late afternoon, the seaplane will pick you up and take you back to the lodge. Labrador Tea Tasting and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 7: Return trip. Lunch at the lodge.
This expedition requires the active participation of the group for assembling and dismantling the bivouac and the preparation of the meals.
