Discover the Kuururjuaq park by snowmobile and snowshoes

The new Kuururjuaq park in Nunavik, opens its doors to the amateurs of winter sports.

Rapid Lake Lodge proposes you a “Safari on snow and ice”. To the program: 5 days of snowmobile to discover kilometers of mountainous landscape, cirques and glacial valleys.

At the handlebars of your snowmobile you will follow your guide to explore the Kuururjuaq park’s frontier.  In the park you’ll sit back and relax in a cozy Inuit sled where your guide will drive you to the most spectacular attractions.

You will discover the famous white desert, climb summits, visit abysses and falls sculptured in spotless snow and ice. At the end of the day you will participate in an authentic wood-fire barbeque and will observe the sun set on the snowy mountains.

To soak up some more into this unique journey, you will live the experience of an overnight stay in a warmth tent to watch the aurora borealis.

Snowmobiles are not only an amusing mode of transport, they are also incredibly handy. There are no needs of long training; guides will teach you to drive these machines safely. To guide you, our snowmobile safaris are divided into 3 levels of difficulty: light, moderate and intense. Finally, if you wish to leave between friends, Rapid Lake Lodge offers you the possibility of personalizing your safari, in some cases, with a supplement;
