We just had our first group of the season on a fishing and air safari tour. A safari of a few hours between landscapes of snowy mountains, frozen lakes and spotless icebergs lost in the thick sea fog demonstrated once again that the Labrador coast is an intense Arctic zone.
The steady rain of the last days made the rivers and brooks level rise which became at the moment torrents. The fishing was obviously not at the height of the fishermen expectations, but did manage to catch some arctic chars, lake trout and speckled trout in various places.
