Have you ever thought of a winter vacation where you could ride across the snowy landscape of the Canadian Far North, to watch auroras borealis and why not learn how to build an igloo? Travelling to Nunavik is simple. A two hour Jet flight due North from Montreal you’ll find the capital of Nunavik, Kuujjuaq. From here you board an Air Inuit flight to Kangiqsualujjuaq (George River). This small modern Inuit community is the only one located on the East Ungava Bay coast and nearby you’ll find our playground; the Arctic Cordillera southern ecozone. This exceptional region is filled with breathtaking natural wonders.
