In 2015 we are adding a guided tour of Hebron’s Ghost Town on our selection of vacation packages.
Here is a unique opportunity to discover the mysterious history of Hebron’s ghost town on the Labrador coast and to photograph the breathtaking landscapes of the Arctic Cordillera.
During this entirely guided day you will set foot where few have gone before.
You will discover impressive glaciated valleys, gorges with deafening waterfalls and penetrate in the hearth of sheer walled fjords where you’ll try to spot and photograph polar bear, black bears, wolfs and caribous. Along the Labrador coast you will fly over icebergs.
The guided tour includes the helicopter flight between our lodges Rapid Lake / Barnoin River, the guide-interpreter, the interpretation program, the refreshments and one stop en route.
For the aviators aboard their aircrafts the guided tour includes the transfer by helicopter between the lake situated a few kilometers west of the town (which normally requires 3 hours of walking) as well as the guide-interpreter, the interpretation program, the refreshments and one stop en route.
This guided one day (1) tour is available on July 26th until August 15th, 2015 and can be incorporated into various vacation packages.
