Wind, snow and ice

Winter may be tough in Nunavik but this doesn’t stop us from preparing our next tourist season.  Many of our clients are asking us what are we doing during the long cold winter months ? Beside of taking care of the reservations winter is a great time to haul out the empty fuel barrels from the lodge and to bring full ones and this is exactly what we are doing now. When the thermometer reads -36°C and the cold arctic wind blows at 90 km/h then it’s time to share a few photos of our cold and beautiful Arctic Quebec region “Nunavik”.
